unforgotten

I often think of Wally, we were two scared and lonely kids on Christmas of 1967 when we spent an evening together, him being Jewish and my self an atheist so we had the hotch to ourselves while Christian services were taking place. He had an impact on me that has lasted these 50 years. Don't think much about that time but I remember Wally as a fine man.

Peace with Honor

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Gordon.
