Beloved uncle -- we lost you way too soon

Dear Uncle Kenny,

I have only a child's memory of you, as I really only had contact with you during vacations to Ohio when I was 5 or 6. You got down on the floor with all us kids (including your own 3 daughters) and played with us like no one else did -- such a family man! I don't remember precisely what you did, but I've always kept an impression of joyous hilarity in my heart, and I decided on that occasion that you were my favorite uncle.

I vividly remember the crushing moment our family received the phone call about your death in SE Asia when I was 7, just as I was leaving for school. I had never before seen my mom burst into tears or begin wailing as she did then. We all felt the same way.
