Thank You

Dear Cpl Mark Vincent, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart . Autumn has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Sacrifice

Cpl. Vincent, the day you gave all was my 7th birthday. I’m sure it was a happy day for me. Family & maybe a few friends gathering, a cake, a present, good times. One of 7 children we didn’t have much but I was a happy child. Nearly 9 thousand miles away you & your brother soldiers were not having a good day. You sacrificed all for us. Children live freely in this country because you. People can vote, choose their own occupation, go to school.... I served in the Army myself. I gave only time. You gave everything you possibly could. Rest eternally in peace Where was does not exist. You and brothers deserve nothing less.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Mark Dee Vincent, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
