Thank You

Dear SSgt Dennis Vance, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the end of summer. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering a friend.

I met Denny ironically 50 years ago today, July 8, 1968, in basic training at Ft Knox, KY. We became instant friends. We did not keep in touch after basic as we went to different duty assignments. When the internet came along, I tried to re-connect with him and was deeply saddened to find his name on the wall. I visit his resting place as often as I can. Rest in peace my friend.
