Thank You

Dear HB Donald Van Der Schans, Thank you for your service as a Hospitalman with the 9th Marines, Semper Fi. Thank you for the lives you saved. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was POW/MIA Recognition Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Forever Friends

Don,
There is not a week that goes by that I don't think of you and the good times we had at Corps School and Field Med School and finally at Naval Hospital at Portsmouth, Virginia. I still remember the letter that I got letting me know of your passing. I know you served your Marines well and you made the Hospital Corps Proud. Semper Fi my Brother and God Bless.
