honoring you.....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You

Dear PFC Johnny Turner, Thank you for your service as a Pioneer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Labor Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I remember you

I remember Johnny setting our living room couch with my sister, Carla. The week just before he went to Vietnam. My sister was grounded for skipping school so he spent a lot of time setting in our living room.
I remember her being so excited when she would receive a letter from him. She still has those letters. Even received one after he was gone.
I always remember Johnny on Memorial Day. I'm making a photo album now of friends and family that have passed on and Johnny will be in that book also so that he will not be forgotten.
