Remembering an American Hero

Dear PFC Loren Eugene Bradley, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say 'thank you'; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Loren, Ray Sobieski stopped by last week and we were going over some old pictures from Vietnam and there you were with that big smile of yours. Ray remembers how you always wanted to walk point, you were one hell of a Marine kid. We have never forgotten you..some of the guys of A company just had a get together after 39 years a few weeks ago..everyone was talking about operations Jackstay & Olsage. We really did get wet down in the delta didn't we! I see your family and friends have also written here, you are aways in are thoughts Loren the Marines of A company will never forget you..you are one of us.. Semper Fi brother
