THANKS
DEAR LANCE CORPORAL JOSEPH BRADLEY,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS A MACHINE GUNNER. SEMPER FI. IT IS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

A very good friend.
Dear Joe
It was a long time before I knew you had been killed. I would give anything if I could laugh with you again. We sure had some great times when we were in Iwakuni Japan. I often think about your children and wife and what they ment to you. I told you to get on the plane with the rest of us but you were looking at what they promised you. They didn't protect you like you thought and you died 37 day's before rotation. I haven't tried to keep track of anyone else.
Please Rest in Peace my dear Friend.
