Dear PFC Van Trantham, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on your 55th anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness Month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Big Van!!

When Van came back to Delta State after his basic training, he burst into our room! He filled up the entire door. Never said a word, just took off his shirt and laid on the floor. We knew what that meant. There were 3 of us. I held one arm and my other buddies got the other arm and his legs. We knew the only way we could beat him was to tire him out.. Great times we had at school...

Daddy's Best Friend

Our Father Clyde Ratcliff (1941-2008) of McComb and Van were best friends....We have rubbed his name from the wall in the past and know he was special to our Father.. October 1, 2015, our Father's birthday, we will lay a wreath at the Tomb of The Unknown in memory of him and in Honor of Van whos birthday is October 6....We appreciate your service to our Country for Us Van!!
