THE WALL OF FACES

I found you and your marker this morning walking by the water fountain at Natl Mem. Park. Thank you for your service. I pray for you, your friends and family. May God bless them all. I also pray you find comfort in the Lords arms you are in our hearts. God Bless you Sir.

Dear PFC Ronald Toward, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness Month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I submitted pictures for my cousin Ronald Toward. One is of Halloween 1951. Ronnie is on far right. One is of my grandson, Eddie, at the Viet Nam Memorial in DC where he is doing a rub of Ronnie's name on the wall.

We were very good friends in high school. We hung out together and hunted together.I still can see the Marine Corp sticker on the dash of your yellow and black 1956 Chevy.
I ask you what was that and you told me you had inlisted in the Marines.
Gary Allen also a high school friend was with us that day. That was also the day Gary and I decieded to inlist too!
You went to Parris Island before us, The day I got the news of your untimely death,I was on my way to Viet Nam
I think of you everyday Brother!!

Dear PFC Ronald Joseph Toward, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
