Thank You
Dear Cpl Glenn Tompkins, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness Month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I will not forget you Glenn.
You were my classmate at Rock Falls High School. I remember the laughs we shared in gym class. I was sorrowed in hearing we lost you. You deserved a better future. May God Bless you always.

My grandfather fought with him
My grandfather was in the same company as him, and same squad. My grandfather told me the story of the firefight the engaged in that killed Glenn and wounded my grandfather. He said he was a good kid, was a happy young kid and was a good soldier. My grandfather was on the same dust-off as him. a shell blew up only feet away from them. the same shell that wounded my grandfather, very sadly took Glenn's life. R.I.P Glenn and thank you for your service
