THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to or country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who wear/wore your MIA bracelet are touching and reflect their admiration and respect for you. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

Dear Maj Rainford Tiffin, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Fighter-Bomber Pilot. I researched you on your 56th anniversary, sad. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 58th anniversary of the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.

I wore Major Rainford Tiffin's bracelet for years. At some point, before a quick Google search could have led me to this site, I took it off and buried it in my parents' backyard. When I learned his remains hadn't been recovered and he was listed as MIA, I dug up the bracelet. It is now proudly displayed on a shelf in my livingroom. Jan Rorebeck Dees 5/19/20

I purchased and wore Major Tiffin’s bracelet back in the 1970’s. I visited the wall on July 21, 1995, and placed the bracelet at the wall. I was honored to wear his bracelet.
