Thank You
Dear Sp5 Jimmie Tice, Thank you for your service as an Armor Crewman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is the 58th anniversary of the Gulf of Tonkin Incident.. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

For Jimmie R. Tice
I write from a feeling that might not be popular here, because I do not believe in what the Vietnam War stood for. I don't know if you believed in the war either - but whether you did or not, I want to thank you for having the bravery to have done what you did. The war was wrong - but you were not wrong to have stepped up to do what you thought was right. I wish you were still alive to have lived a full life and enjoyed what that life could've brought you, but thank you for your service.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP5 Jimmie Ray Tice, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
