..... I didn't know Larry but he is a Marine and we were Brothers. I consider him family, always have, always will. I have heard so very much about him, all great things, I feel like I knew him, wish I did. We honor him and all Nam Vets every single day! They say a man is not dead till he is forgotten. Larry will live forever!!!

We miss you so much!
It's almost Memorial Day, 35 years ago we lost you in Vietnam. I often wonder what you would have become, if you would have had children, or if you would have made changes in this world of ours. I can't begin to tell you how much you are on my mind and in my heart. I miss you so much Larry. All those that knew you, still suffer their loss. Russ and I talk about you all the time. He too goes to the cemetary and wishes that things could have been different. We are so proud of you. As the days, years pass by, the loss of you doesn't lessen. I LOVE you and MISS you. Please rest in peace by dear and courageous brother. Love, Sandy

My uncle
Unfortunately I do not have any memories of my uncle because he was taken from us on May 25, 1969, two months after I was born. I can't help feeling like I was robbed of his hugs and kisses and just knowing the man everyone seemed to love. All I have now is a picture and stories from family. We miss him everyday.

1968
I remember his kindness and his openess to befriend many simply on the basis of being with him during the day. He invited me, a freshman when he was an upperclassman, to double date with him which made my evening. I never forgot that.

My Brother
I still remember the night you went to Vietnam. It was snowing out, mom was ironing your clothes to take with you, friends of yours were there, I was pregnant, so you didn't want me to come to the airport. We said our "goodbyes" out on the porch, sharing good memories of our past, laughing and praying together. You have made us all so proud of you! No matter where we walk, our heads are always held higher than others. I miss you Larry!
