I was in the Air Force stationed in Japan. One night I was assigned the job of servicing a plane full of our veteran hero's. The power was down with respect so I entered the aircraft with a flashlight. When I shined the light across the sea of caskets the first name I saw was that of John Boyer. I almost fell out of the plane because my name is John Boyer.

I never met my uncle john, all I know is that he died saving others. I Never even met him but he has inspired me to join the marines when I turn 18. For that i owe him everything
