Great Brother !!
My brother US. Marine , Lcp , William Teer ,Age 20 , I knew for. only a short time in life but Billy taught me so much about life. Billy was a special. Man with a special way of touching people in a positive. Way. To know Billy was to Love Him. Billy as all men & women don't deserve the horrors of war but chooses to march directly in the path of danger for our country . A country who turn it's back on brave veterans & families . Billy's death as all Vietnam deaths & injuries. could have been handled better , However, Billy is a hero & paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country before Billy was able to enjoy the pleasures of life . I sincerely honor my brave brother & thank you for being a great big bother to me Billy , U.S. Marine Lcp William Teer age 20

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL William Edward Teer, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER
It's said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for family, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush of
quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush of
quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Thank You
For a history assignment our class goal is to post remembrances for the many people who fought and died in Vietnam but do not have a remembrance posted yet. We would like to recognize them for their sacrifice and their loyalty to America even in controversial times. It is people with that devotion who have made this nation great, and we thank them for their honor and loyalty.
