Thank You
Dear Lcpl William Teer, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Monday was Independence Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I have fond memories of William even thou we only went by last names at camp lejuene North Carolina. This was in 1965 directly before the Vietnam deployment. We were really good friends and he shared details of his life with me. His reason for joining the Marines was because he didn’t have a good relationship with his Mother. I plan to visit his gravesite in August 2019. I love my friend and I’m so saddened the way that his life turned out.He deserved better. Adding to his life of injustice, he died in Vietnam and didn’t even receive a Purple Heart (very sad)

To A Wonderful Neighbor and Friend
Ron is so right, to know Billy was to love him. I have so many childhood memories of growing up "down the street" from Billy. He will forever hold a place in my heart and mind. Thank you, dear friend, for fighting this fight for me and mine. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
