Dear Lcpl Robert Taylor, Thank you for your service as a Tank Crewman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is Independence Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Cousin Robert
I was quite young when you left for Vietnam. When we got the news that you had passed in the war a great sadness was upon your immediate family, especially your mom and your family of many cousins, aunts, uncles and a grandmother. I remember seeing many saluting, holding flags and crying as the last route was taken to lay you to rest. That day, I understood war and Vietnam. I will never forget that you and so many before you, have given us freedom that is to always be treasured.
Thank you for giving of yourself for my freedom. You will always be loved by so many. We will never forget and will not let our children forget.
