Remembered

DEAR PFC HURLEY BOYD,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. MEMORIAL DAY IS APPROACHING, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

For Hurley M. Boyd

I don't know how to correct errors listed here about Hurley. I am his niece. He was born in VA. His hometown is not Baltimore. It's West Liberty, KY. He died way too early. The medic that cared for him met with us, his family, some years ago and told us about the day he was wounded. He left an impression with that man. We honor his service to our country.
