Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Jerrold Allen Switzer, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

For Jerry
Jerry, I remember you as kind of a goofy kid, so much fun to be around. You hung out with my brother, Randy, and my cousins, Verlin and Paul, Jr. I think of you often. You gave your life so that others might live. God Bless You, Brave Soldier. Thank you for your service....Rest in Peace!

Rembering Jerry
Jerry, I remember you through my older brother, Randy. You always made everyone laugh. I had a POWMIA bracelet made with your name on it and gave it to Randy to wear. I just want to thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Know you are forever in our hearts. We will NEVER forget!!!
