THANKS

DEAR SPEC 4 LESTER BOWMAN,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. TODAY IS ARMED FORCES DAY. MEMORIAL DAY IS APPROACHING, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

Someone who served with him shared that he had a daughter he never met

I am a volunteer at the Wall and met Victor Hutson who served with him. He was taking a rubbing and commented that he had a daughter who never got to meet his daughter. I asked if he was willing to be contacted and he gave me his contact information.
As a "daughter" so many know your journey. Look up SDIT.org and meet the family. Contact me and I will give you or any family member contact information. Others remember him, too.

I Remember when Lester padt away

My Sister was married to Lesters brother ( James Bowman) at the time of Lesters death. So being James was a Marine at the time he did not have to serve in battle. I know Lester was loved by Many. I was very young 13 years old.
