Hey sarge, do you remember the boat patrol in Cam Rhan Bay? The beer was good, but, the food the crew of that ship gave us was even better. That was a meal to remember. I think about you, Youngbear, Ski and the others who fell all the time. Today is Memorial Day, 2023, and today all America is remembering you. Rest in peace knowing that you are not forgotten.

That was one hell of a night .
Wayne Leathers an I were on the chopper returning you back to ,Batalion Hq .
Wayne and I had a severe case of the Rot .
We were on hill 52 with Sgt Youngbear on the 3rd .
I'm working on this memorial for the Brothers KIA from Aco 2nd 502nd 1966 ,your name will be engraved forever along with 36 others .
