40 yrs. ago-Never Forgotten
Suigi has been in our hearts for as long as we have known him. My husband went to flight school with him and considered him a good friend. We were going to meet on R&R in Hawaii, (the 4 of us)but Suigi's life was cut short. My husband is Little Bear 33 and it pains him to learn that Suigi did not die instantly. He always thought that he did.We think of Suigi every day, pray that his family is well.Does anyone know where he is buried? My husband would like to visit his grave.

You Were Too Young To Lose
I remember "Sugi" as someone who always had a smile on his face. He was a "new guy" as I had already been in country for some time before he came in. But, he fit in quick, because he was such a good soul. I remember the day he and Drake were killed. It broke my heart. I lived in denial for some time. These guys were too close to me to be gone. I hope his family is ok. I think about them and "Sugi" nearly every day. I don't ever want to forget them. As long as I remember, I hope I do them honor.
Warmest Regards My Friend

A Fellow Pilot
Will always remember your shy smile and the photo of you and
your young Bride. I was there after you crashed and was loaded on the Evac helicopter to Saigon. I was sadden to learn you died enroute.

Never Forgotten
My name is Phoenix Marr and I am a junior in high school. My history teacher has challenged all of his students to experience the Virtual Wall by writing 100 remembrances for the men and women that gave their lives serving our country.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you, Leonard, for your outstanding service and strength! You will never be forgotten!
