Dear Andy

Your life has been an example for all of us of what it means to live up to the highest ideals of being an American. From your enlistment to represent and defend the principles of democracy during a time of war, to your selfless acts of bravery on the battlefield, and your determination not to let your service related injuries define your life, you always led by example and persevered. In doing so, you have helped so many of us to appreciate and values the ideals you fought for. Our lives are immeasurably better for having known you. We thank you, honor you and remember your bright light and giving heart.
