THE WALL OF FACES

About 25 years ago I was in Washington D.C. I purchased a P.O. W. bracelet. It was that of a fellow naval aviator named Larry J. Stevens who was lost February 14, 1969. I selected that one not only because he was a naval aviator as I was, but he was lost on my tenth birthday. I would love to connect with the family and if his bracelet has any value to them I would be happy to provide it to them.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who wear/wore your MIA bracelet are touching and reflect their admiration and respect for you. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

Greetings and much love to Gladys and family. It's Mary Helen Barro, and I'm still hanging out in Bakersfield. I still have not given up on finding Larry. Still wear Larry's bracelet every February 14 and on Memorial Day. Several months ago, I read about a military researcher who was exploring new MIA leads in Laos. I don't know if he ever located any of our valiant heroes, but I intend to pick up my search again within a few weeks. Hope you are all doing well. Belated "Happy Birthday," Gladys. Dear Lt Larry Stevens, Thank you for your service as an Unrestricted Line Officer - Pilot on the USS CORAL SEA. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. 47 years ago, the last battle of the war began. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.
