Larry E. Steppe
We only knew each other for a short time, but on every veterans holiday and many times during the year you are on my mind.
I wish you and your family peace and ever let it be said that you or any of our brothers in arms be forgotten.
Remembering An American Hero
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Larry is buried at Cross Roads Church Cemetery, Houston County,TN. BSM AM ARCOM PH
I Miss you
I miss you everyday of my life. I, alone, am taking care of our precious mother, now 84. She is living with me and my husband..she looks at your picture every night before I put her to bed. God knew when you were taken from us, that I would be at this place in my life. I feel honored..It was always just the two of us kids and we had such a happy family...Our parents made our lives so much fun.I will always love you!
