What a blessing

After all these years I came home to a teary eyed grandma. This website helped my family finally hear what happened to you. We could not be more proud and would like to take a second to thank you for the sacrifices you made. We are sad we don't get to see you every day but we are so amazed you sacrificed yourself to make sure others were going home to their families. We love you so much and I know grandma Hilda and auntie jinne (your sisters) are finally at peace with what happened. We miss you and will never forget you.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Alley Oakley Stephens, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
