In Honor of my dear great Uncle

My Great Uncle David died trying to protect this country and her people. He died in an ambush attack on 6/17/69. He was nineteen when he died.I never got the chance to meet him. I know that the connection between us is strong and can never be broken. Though he is gone he is still here because every single american is alive and not under the control of Vietnamese Communists. My uncle is one of 13 soldiers that were attacked and killed in the ambush. He is also one of many soldiers who cared so much for this country that they would leave the comfort of their home to protect the magestic lands that make up this country. For that we deeply honor my uncle and every other soldier who fought to keep everyone safe. I love you Uncle David.

Not forgotten

David, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we have today.
