Remembered

DEAR CORPORAL BOUCHARD,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN EXPEDITIONARY AIRFIELD SYSTEM TECHNICIAN. SEMPER FI. SUNDAY WAS THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY OF PRESIDENT FORD CALLING THIS DAY THE OFFICIAL END TO THE WAR. IF IT WAS ONLY THAT EASY. I AM SO SORRY. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

Growing up

HI Michael I really happy that you put in that picture of Richard for some reason I don't have one.Your brother and I were almost like brothers he set me up with my wife. Dick and I were suppose to go in the Marines in the buddy system and then after your Dad was going to get us in Fire Deptment but I was one year behind and he was about to get drafted. I do remember you as a little guy that we had to take with us I am really happy how you turn out Dick and you Father would be prould.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Richard George Bouchard, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

From Childhood

I just came across this page and would like to leave a note for someone to read. I can remember when we met you live on one side of back alley and me the other side. All you spoke is French and me English but that didn't stop use from having fun from there on we did everything together. I would go to your house and you mine we would just walk in just like we lived there. We were going to enlist in the Marine core on the buddy system but I didn't get out of high school on time and had to do my senor year over, You tried to wait by going to the computer school in Concord, but that wasn't long enough and you was about to get drafted so you sign up. There is not a week that goes by I don't think of you, people say that you have only one true friend in you live time and you were mind I mite wright again and remember some more of are childhood bye for now John P
