Dear WO Willis Smith, Thank you for your service as an Utility & Light Cargo Single Rotor Helicopter Pilot. Your 54th anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Spring , and Lent. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Bubba is my mother's brother - she was only 2 1/2 years old when he was born, and when she said "brother," it sounded like "Bubba." This name stuck. I have no memory of meeting my uncle because I was only 22 months old when he died in Vietnam. I am grateful to read the comments others have left here.

Bubba and I were childhood playmates. We lived nearby (only a couple of miles) in rural Decatur Mississippi. Seems like only three of chose the military after graduation. The other two of chose Navy.
