Thank You

Dear PFC Ronald Smith, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Spring has begun, and it's Lent. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Ronald Lee Smith, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Gold Star Honor Roll Research

I am a junior at Lake Central High school in St. John Indiana. I am taking a US History class with Mr. Tom Clark. We must do anything we can to find family and friends of our Indiana soldiers. Our goal is to have all the men and women's pictures to display in a museum along with any information we can find about them. We want to be sure that each person has more than just a name listed.
Here is a link to the gold star project that gives more information.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Hopefully Mr. Clark and I will be hearing from you soon. God Bless you and God Bless America.
