It's been 51 years since I met you in Basic Training. I recall you with great appreciation for you positive attitude and example. I hope that someday your wife and child will read this. I never forget those that served. When I learned of your passing I was saddened and reflective. While your physical passing has been fifty years your remembrance remains as an impact in my life. It was a real privilege having served with you.
