So proud of you

David, the whole family is so proud of you and will never forget your sacrifice.

Kerry (rumored here as deceased) is very much alive (2012) and continued to serve his country after you were killed.

We lost David's older brother, Cary, just three months prior to losing David. It seems so unfair to have two childhood friends taken away forever. More than thirty years later there is still a void in my heart where my memories live. I will always remember the Smith boys and the fun we had growing up around Chelsea Park in Kansas City. One of David's favorite songs still sticks in my mind...."When a man Loves a Woman....or was it "My Girl?" Time has dimmed my memory as far as the music he loved but it can not hinder my fond and happy recollection of growing up with David ad the gang on the east side of Kansas City.
Rest in Peace Dear Friend, you will always be remembered with happy thoughts. -PERRY TAYLOR
