In remembrance of Captain Albert Merriman Smith, Jr.

Captain Albert Merriman Smith, Jr. gallantly gave his life for his country in Vietnam. He was the son of the reporter, Albert Merriman Smith, who first reported, from the motorcade in Dallas, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Father and son now lie in peace together among the American heroes at Arlington National Cemetery.
