A Memory of a Hero

I am proud to have known you. I knew you as "Butch", the big brother I never had. I will always remember our neighborhood baseball games, and the first time I saw you in Uniform. I have thought of you many times through the years.

We will never forget your sacrifice

Chuck and I were friends, Bothell High School classmates, roommates after school and in OCS at Ft. Benning, GA at the same time. He loved what he was doing and was an outstanding officer and leader. It has been almost 42 years my friend and you are still in my thoughts every day. Thank you for your service. Thank you for our Freedom.

We will remember you

Dear Sir, My world history class is remembering the fallen soldiers of the war, not because it is something we must do, but because we feel it is out duty to remember and honor those who did not return from battle. Thank you for your commitment to your country. You will always be remembered by me as one of America's heroes.
