I was with Fred and Richard Trotter when they were killed on the morning of Sept. 26, 1968. Very close friends of the same. Went to Vietnam from Ft Lewis , Wash. In 1968 with both. Will never forget these two fellow Veterans. RIP my friend.

DEAR SERGEANT BORCZYNSKI.
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. YESTERDAY WAS THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE FALL OF SAIGON. I AM SO SORRY. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

To my lost cousin, and friend from Burgard Vocational High School
I miss you my friend. All the good times we had at Burgard Vocational and at Crystal Beach. When ever I see a picture of JFK JR. , I think of you. I was in boot camp at Paris Island, South Carolina when you were lost . I could not make your funeral. My Family, the Blums, told me you were killed in action. Shortly after your loss, I myself left for Vietnam, a mudd marine no less. I know how you felt and was glad to just get out of their alive. I am sure that Sharon , i believe that was her name, misses you as I do. god bless you my friend.
