Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Steven George Slack, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Honoring You

I chose your name from the CT map painted in our school which lists the soldiers from our state that lost their lives in Vietnam. As part of the Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School posting project, I would like to honor the sacrifice you made for our country. You are amazing person that should be never forgotten. Your Bravery and Honor still lives today through the lives of all. You are never forgotten because you are a part of my life and showing that you gave your life to make mine better and that means so much to I could never repay by anything. You have really given the ultimate sacrifice.
