Dear LCPL Verle Jennings Skidmore, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

Delta Battery 2-13 Ngok Tavak

Verle was one of the 13 Delta Battery Marines KIA 10 MAY 68 at Ngok Tavak. 11 MIAs of the Delta Marines were recovered and buried in 2005. Verle & Thomas C Schriver were not MIA.
