Thank You
Dear Cpl Thomas Skally, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. I researched you on your 53rd anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Winter will end soon. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Uncle Tommy
Angie,
Thank you for sharing memories of your uncle. Tom and I went to Mercy High School together in University City before he transferred to Southwest HS. We hung out together sometimes, and I remember being at his home on McCausland.
I spent a year at Florissant Valley Community College, then worked for a bit, before joining the Navy Seabees in March of 1968. I first arrived in Vietnan in October of 1968. Unfortunately I did not know at the time that we were there at the same time. Curiously, my brother Mark, who was a Marine, was able to visit me for a couple of days in April of 1969.
I have good memories of the time we were able to spend together in school. Unfortunately, we kind of drifted apart after he transferred from Mercy.
