Thank You
Dear SMSgt Russell Sisley, Thank you for your service with the 620 Tactical Control Squadron. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Winter will end soon. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Ground Casualty
SMS Russell J. Sisley was a security policeman superintendent assigned to the 620th Tactical Control Squadron. On March 16, 1966, A2C Packer was fatally injured in a vehicle crash near Dong Ha Air Base when the weapons carrier he was in swerved to avoid hitting a Vietnamese woman and her baby. The truck crashed off a narrow bridge and fell 30 feet. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org and “Camden GI Is Killed Saving Mother, Baby.” The Philadelphia Inquirer, June 21, 1966.]
