Music in his soul

I had the great pleasure of playing lots of music with Jimmy, we spent many hours traveling from booking to booking, living out of a car. His memory is always with me as it is now....we were cheated by his departure, but his memory and voice are forever there until we meet again we all miss you brother.....

I've never forgotten my true friend

Jorge, although time has pasted by leaps and bounds, I've never forgotten you. Many times in past, when I speak of you, I can see you smiling shy face watching me.

I apologize it's taken so many years for me to finally allow myself some healing. I needed to start with you my friend. I miss you tremendously and always think, what if.

One day we will be together again............Your basic training, AIT and Vietnam buddy, Rich Lopez AKA "Trini"

If anyone knows how I can reach a family member, etc., please feel free to reach out to me

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Jorge Alvarado Silvas, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
