Sanford is buried at Chester Cemetery in Chester, CA.

We were friends and teamates from Little League through James Logan High School and then fellow U.S. Marines. We'll never forget you pal.

Thank you for sacrificing your tomorrows. May God bless you and keep you safe in His arms. Those of us who remember the Vietnam War are carrying the torch of remembrance for our fallen, our MIA's, and our POW's.

We are forever indebted to you, Sanford. Semper Fi!
