First Lieutenant Charles Christopher Bonnet, Served with B Troop, 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 9th Infantry Division, United States Army Vietnam.

Chris and my brother Jim Ledbetter went to Washington & Lee together. Chris would come home with Jim to visit and we became friends. When I think of him I remember a sweet and kind man that was simply the best of his generation. I lost my friend but will always honor and keep his memory.
