Serving with you was a great honor.

I was wounded Feb 14, 1970, when the Dust-off ship landed you carried me to the chopper and said you made it man you're going home and smiled. I will see you in heaven.

Prior Navy Service

Allen enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 in 1964. He did one hitch with the Navy with a tour in Vietnam. He then enlisted in the Army and did two tours in Vietnam.
