You impacted me today

On this Memorial Day 2024 your loss of life for our country is NOT forgotten! I was at the wall. I saw your name and I wanted to find out about you. You were only 26 years old when you gave your life so that I can live in Freedom. Thank you is not enough to say to you and the thousands and thousands like you who fought for the cause set before you. I have a photo of the wall with your name, and that’s why I wanted to find out more about you. The photo won’t load here

Thank You

Dear Cap Kenneth Shannon, Thank you for your service as an Armored Reconnaissance Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another new year. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear Captain Kenneth Michael Shannon, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
