Thank You
Dear Maj Willian Seward, Thank you for your service as an HMH Helicopter Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another new year. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I've never forgotten...
I was a 6th grade student when the Marines came to my school in a small southern town called Rockmart, Ga. I was given a bracelet with this soldiers name. I wore it proudly for years and as time goes by I found information & I found a grave marker in the Marietta Nationa Cemetary in Marietta, Ga. I left a yellow rose on his grave & this was my small way of saying welcome home I have found you. I stored my bracelet away but never forgot or lost it. I recently moved & found it and started wearing it again. With technology being what it is today I decided to google his name. I was unaware that his remains had been brought home & lain to rest but I think that is most wonderful. I have a photo of his platoon Christmas of 67' right BEFOR he was KIA & it is one of those things I'll always hang onto. This is the first pic I have ever seen of him close up & id love the opportunity to speak to someone in his family to just tell them IVE ALWAYS BEEN PROUD TO WEAR MY BRACELT EVEN THOUGH I DIDNT KNOW THEIR MARINE PERSONALLY... THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR SACRIFICE!!!

An old lost friend
Billy was my room mate in Pensacola. I was a Canadian new arrival for training. We struck up a great friendship over a three month period which resulted as being asked to be an usher at his wedding to Patsy in Atlanta. We kept in contact periodically until Patsy advised me of his death in 1968. I was at sea in the Canadian carrier Bonaventure at the time and lost contact with his Patsy which I have always regretted. Until to-day I never knew the circumstances of his death in detail or repatriation of his remains.
If anyone reading this can help me to locate Billy's widow I would appreciate it.
