Classmate and fellow vet
I'm the last of your classmates to see you in this world,19 Feb 67. I'm glad we had the chance to have a few last laughs together in a place with few opportunities for laughter.

My memories of Richard from a Boltz family reunion
Richard's father and my grandmother were siblings, making my father Richard's first cousin. I only saw Richard once, when he was about 17 years old. I can only describe him as wild and highly spirited. I was about 13 at the time. The Boltz reunion was at a farm near Lebanon, Penna. Memories of a red barn, cherry pies, deviled eggs, lots of food, warm hospitality... & a chance to fire Uncle Ralph's 22 at tin cans.
I was in college when the phone call came thru. Let's say I studied a little harder.

Class Mate & Nam Vet.
You got to Nam one week after I was med-evaced out.
You died while I was still in the hospital.
I never got a chance to get drunk with you, another Nam Vet and fellow "non-gym taker".
God Bless your duty & sacrifice.
