Pat Scott
Pat Scott graduated Decatur High School in the class ahead of me. I knew him but we were not close friends but his death brought home to me the war in Vietnam in a way only the death of a friend can. The war was real not just a TV show, real people were being killed.
Pat was a leader in his class and a good person and we will always wonder what he might have accomplished if he hadn't died when he did.
