Little brother
Kenneth K Scott. A proud Marine was my little brother. A tall. Blond blue eyes good looking young man he went in the Marines with several of his buddies. Had a week left to go before he got to return home instead of being with his troup he was guarding a Air Base as his feet were so bad he couldn't hardly walk. A mortar fell in a tent of sleeping soldiers n altho flew out quickly he didn't survive. Left behind a mother, a wife,2 sisters n 6 brothers will always miss my blond headed brother.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Kennett Keith Scott, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
