I remember.
This is Gene Napier. We were in the same barracks at Camp Pendleton before Vietnam. We had long talks - you talked about your girl at home. We would sit in the shower and play your guitar and sing. (The acoustics were better in the shower.) It hit me very hard when I heard you were hit. God bless.

Stationed with you at Camp Pendleton
I remember you while at H&S Co. 2 Bn. 11th Marines...you had me draw a picture of a girl you liked named Rhonda...whenever the song Help Me Rhonda by The Beach Boys played we would all sing together...every now and then I’ll glance at the pictures of you and the others out behind the barracks. I went overseas before you and was told later what happened to you. So glad I served with you.
